A Lund makes a Great Catfish Boat. Tex guides out of one. MjMetro runs one. I run a Spectrum Deep V Aluminum Walleye boat, several guys on here run Lowes or Tracker Aluminum Deep Vs....many guys run center consoles but I prefer Deep Vs.

I use a 1988 pro team 185 bass tracker deep-v. It works awesome for catfishing.

Re: cat boat - 06/26/16 04:58 AM

I hear you.. center console would be my last choice no where to sit down and not a lot of room in my opinion I've ran several different Pontoons. .But they won't cut through the waves like a Deep
so I decided to try it this time..I love all the rear seating for fishing that's my favorite part is the floor plan

Re: cat boat - 06/26/16 04:59 AM

I like to take rear pedestal seats out when fishing.........115 or 125 outboard is plenty for me........

I've got a 22' Berkshire pontoon. 10 Driftmaster Pro Duo rod holders and a Humminbird 999 HDsi. It's not the coolest boat out there but it's probably the most comfortable! And it's got a 150hp Honda so it will scoot!

Hard to find a better rod for the price. cheers I need to get a few more. I like the Ugly Stik Tigers cause I can also take them to the coast on a party boat for some ocean fishing.
