Is the state park the best place for Rv camping during spring break?
Or is there other camp grounds?

That would be my choice.

The state park is pretty nice for RV camping. I've never camped anywhere else on the lake so I have no comparison.

The State Park would be my number one choice since it is the cleanest area.
Holiday is not bad either now since it has been fixed up.

thumb On state park camping. Holiday Marina is not much of a camping ground to start with but now is still muddy from high water level, flood.

Wind point park is my favorite place to camp on Tawakoni, and fishing is awesome in that area.

Twak SP does not have cabins. I recommend Anchor Inn Marina or Wind Point Park for cabins and decent banks fishing spots to boot.

Thousand Trails has cabins but you have to sign up for the membership.

k

Both are good spots from the bank. At anchor, you can almost always be into the wind. Same can be said for wind point when most people want to be out... And... Shad are shallow here...
