Shad showed up in a creek!

Walked an entire Creek today from the mouth all the way up to where the fish can't go any further. The bait finally came up one of the creeks. That black spot surrounding the brush pile is just one school. Only problem with this run of bait; is they are all 3 to 4 inches long. All of them are gizzards- they're just small. That black spot is only a foot and a half to 2 foot deep.

No way to get a net in that!!

That was just an easy pic to take of a piled up school of bait in a creek. There r plenty of spots they r not around structure. Just small this year. We can fill 2-3 buckets with one throw right now. Just all hookers and no cutters.
