Lewisville Blues!!

My buddy Al and I have been hitting up lake Lewisville for the past couple weeks. The temps have been cold but the fishing has been HOT!! The pictures posted below are all from two different trips. We fished this past Sunday during the blizzard and caught over 30 blues. It was so cold my iphone kept dying so most fish went unpictured but we did manage to snap a few shots of the bigger fish. We then fished a couple days ago on Tuesday night and took a couple buddies who have been wanting to get on some good fish. I don't think they were disappointed since we caught over 20 fish and two pb's. All fish were caught on cutbait and then released.

My buddy Joe came out and took one run on my rod and ended up with this beautiful 41 lbs Blue. Sorry for the poor pictures.



This is from Sunday. ME with an 18

I was saying that we caught over 30 blues this night. Notable fish not pictured are a 33 lbs blue that Al caught and a 32 that I caught. I did manange my new pb this night, with a layer of snow on my clothes, landed this 38 lbs blue.


A couple days prior to this Al caught a beautiful 48lbs blue. His Lake LEwisville PB.

Just to add to your doubt everyone come from the exact same spot as well.

I never been to Lewisville, may have to go there one day once I figure out where to go LOL Big lake and hard to find good bank fishing spots.

And folks wonder why reports/pics are slowly disappearing from the forum. Seems like there is always someone doubting something posted instead of just enjoying it.

Lewisville, this year, has been excellent to me. Numerous teens and 20's, a couple of 30's, and a mid 40's. This is since the spring this year, not even winter time and I haven't even fished it that hard.

catfish boy85 once you learn to fish you will find that grapevine and Lewisville both have lots of trophy fish to be had but its probably hard to fish with a chip on your shoulder.....fishinjack wtg finding good fish from another county

Totally agree - why can't everyone just say good job and let someone enjoy their fish? Don't understand people sometimes. Either way, those are monsters, thanks for sharing the report and pics fishinjack.

Lewisville has been producing a few decent fish recently...I have caught a ton of slot fish recently.

its kinda cute ole catfish boy has been sending me pm's about how he has caught a bunch of big fish and that (he ain't no boy)I asked him if that was his boyfriend holding the catfish in his sig but he hasn't responded although at the end of his pm's he's called me a male organ and a female dog that hasn't had puppies i'm kinda curious what he comes up with next
