I never have unloaded there before. Does it have a pier or easy access on and off your boat when fishing by yourself? Thanks for any advice.

no because the lake is so low

No courtesy dock at this ramp and it is a one lane 8.5 foot ramp with drop offs on the sides. I'd recommend taking a friend if'n ya launch at this ramp. Not the best ramp but is the only one open on Lavon. It is one of the original ramps built when the lake was first built in 1953. It is usually underwater but since the lake is so low, it's peekin above the water now! Boats were a lot smaller in 1953!

Dave, I think it does have curbs on the side further down the ramp, looked like curbs when I scanned it anyway. I didn't save the image unfortunately, so I can't post it.
I 2nd the part about having a partner with you. Gravel at the top so take it easy when loading and pulling boat back out as well, doesn't take a lot to spin, and spinning digs some quick holes.

It does have small curbs but as dave said dropoffs. The ramp is not smooth. Its tilted and broken. Hard to tell if your rubing a curb or just the ramp. Roll of the curb and you will dropoff and the axle will rest on the curb.

its not ideal but works---i just tie a rope to the trailer--ease the boat off the trailer then pull my truck up a few feet.....hop out and and pull the rope and boat back into the shore. the ramp is small but workable
