Fayette report 9/6 - 09/06/13 11:59 PM
Today I had John and Crystal, from Halletsville area, out for a morning on the water at Fayette County. I was surprised by how few boats were out, I guess they got their fill during Labor Day weekend. When I left the lake there was one boat trailer in the parking lot.
The morning started out with no winds and progressed to light, 5mph, winds, but shifting from East than to North-west, then back to East again. Once again lots of missed bites, but a better hook up ratio today. They ended the day with 26 nice cats, largest going just over 9#.
All fish caught on CJ's Crawdad punch bait, under corks, in 4-10 foot water.
