Are there public ramps or Marinas that someone can suggest? If I head out tomorrow it will be my first time at that lake. Any good info would be appreciated. .. :o)

The new twin points ramp on the south end is open. $10 a launch.

West bay on the west side is open $10

I think there's a few ramps on the east side.

I've been using the new ramp at twin points. It's not free but it's a really nice facility.

There's shad everywhere. I've never seen the shad concentrations like I have this past year.

The only free ramp isn't usable cause of low water. You can literally catch shad by hand there so thick right now! Fish 20-25 fow. With the little bit of front that moved through and electronics you can find em. We caught some nice ones Thursday night.

What ramp is that? Low water doesnt really affect my ability to launch...

Shady Grove Park in Azle is free Mark. It's close to some excellent fishing too.

For some reason they put a fishing dock instead of a loading dock. There use to be a sign that sad you cannot tie your boat to the dock...yet there is really no place to beach your boat to park your tow vehicle or pick up a passenger if you do not use the fishing dock.

At any rate...you probably got a 1/4 mile until you get to 3' eater at current lake levels.

The ramp in Newark. And you can't use it cause they have it gated and padlocked. And the water doesn't even make it back to the ramp.

That's not the only free ramp then. I forgot about the Wise County ramp.

Creek Harbor fish camp. If you have an RV west bay marina has an rv park.
