Night Bank Fishing - 04/20/12 02:36 PM
As a bank-bound fisherman I've been noticing that once it gets totally dark the bite pretty much stops, well on Benbrook for me anyway. Last night I was getting hits on cut shad, liver, and punchbait but about 9 o'clock everything went dead...is it just me or could my baits/tactics use a little tweaking at twilight?
Thanks for any advice/info,

I say use live baits and cut bait. Also maybe try a different depth than where your at before sun down.

You have to wait until later in the night
I find the bite starts to pick back up after midnight usually 1-2am produces pretty well for me.

Could have something to do with the wind. On my favorite lake, if the wind stops, the fish shut down.
I night bank fish and find that i catch a lot of fish after mdnight. Just have to wait them out.
