BANK SPOTS AT TWONK

Im coming up to terrell to see some family this weekend.I have been hearing about all those giant fish being caught the last couple weeks.Im unable to bring my boat this time.So does any one have any ideas about where i can bank fish and maybe catch a fish or two

I've been itching to hit the state park. With the wind out of the north for all these days, it might be worth a look.

Hay thanks for the info. Is there lots of room to fish there? Any other ideas

i saw some guys fishing the bank out on the point at the state park last weekend. I saw lots of fish on the screen in that area. you can walk out a good ways a well.

I banked it last weekend and my best spot was at wind point.

I fish the west end of the 2 mile bridge and only managed a few eaters.

I fished the point coming out of rabbit cove and caught a few eaters.

Fished WP and caught a 32 and several eaters.

I had waders on so I was out 4' deep, about 70 yards from the bank casting.

Never got to state park but I have had alot of success there in the past.

Shad will be hard to come by from the bank

can you buy them anywhere and not pay a arm and a leg does anyone know?

Cut buffalo and cut carp works great sometimes... sometimes shad works better.

I have t hem both on hand to see what the fish want... latley its been cut shad.. but you never know when thatll change!!!
