If you sign up to this website, after about a week they will start sending you discounts good on anything but "hard to find" items. The 6500c3 is one of those.

After discount these reels (6600CL) would be around $53+ whatever they may charge for shipping, was wondering how it would compare to a 6500c3 that they sell for $95?

I hear those are great reels. At 53 bucks each, buy all 7 they have.

Gotta read the fine print on ebay... The Seller on ebay now has to pay a % of the final selling price + their shipping. Before they just had to pay a %of the final selling price.. They used to be able to save money selling an item for $1 and charging $50 for shipping...only pay 5 percent of the $1, now they have to pay 5 percent of the $51...

I buy lotz of stuff at FFO they are a square deal. No big shipping prices.
I know a lot of guys on here that buy stuff from them.

For $230 a pop i better be able to cast to China from my backyard with those things...

I have 2 of 6600 CL reels and they are very nice. They are 6.3 to 1 reels so when I strip the gears out of them I will change them to 5.3 to 1 because that is more conducive to big fish, but other than that they are great reels. Add a PA power handle to them and you will love them.

I have one of the brute reels, I like it, other than I am not crazy about the thumbars, I wish it had the button, I did take off the power handle, I liked the regular handles better, but I'm sure it is just me!!!

I also have a 6500 CL3 and it is a good reel, I don't know the difference between it and a C3 but I have both and are good reels!!!

I have already ordered one of the reels previously and they shipped it ASAP and it was at my front door within a week of placing the order! 6600 CL is doing great for me so far and hasnt had any problems handling fish up to 20lbs. Just bought a power handle to put on it so we'll see how that affects the reeling on some bigger fish. delivered to my door for $58
