Tennessee River - 4/24/22 - 04/26/22 02:20 PM

We finally got a weekend day that allowed us to fish. Windy, but temps were in the low 80's. The water release has dropped to the upper teen's until the lakes can reach their summer pool. The dink bite was in full force that day. Deep water, shallow water, creek mouths, sunken timber, rock piles all had nothing but undersized fish swarming our baits. Hard to catch fish when you have a size 10 hook and the fish have a size 4 mouth. This one 13 lb'er managed to butt in line for a piece of skipjack.

Hopefully next weekend we can find the bigger ones.

Unfortunately yes. grin J.R. Hall (Blacksheep Catfishing Guide) is also making me look bad. But they fish different parts of the river than I do. I stay 15 miles either way from Ditto's Landing in Huntsville.
