Solid work Jackie! I have yet to catch a Bowfin. That looks like a big one!
Bowfin 4.5# biggest I've ever seen caught is 10.2

Nice work - happy customers I am sure! The spring bite is on.

Late start because of rain in earlier forecast but this AM it was out so my friend Vagabond Varnell came to "Get The Blues" he managed a 25 fish limit from 8:30 until noon.

Serious question. How do you manage line control in these 20 plus winds? I get you can double anchor, and hold the boat in position, but how do you manage getting the line control, during waves without dragging the weights across the bottom, and slacking the line continually? I don't think these were all caught trolling against the wind.....I could be wrong though.

Great pictures. Good looking haul of fish.
My friend James Hunt came today and we was on the bite early and quick, it died just like it started. Moved twice and then back to the second spot and my anchor cleat pulled loose. end of the outing. Did I mention it was rough out today. Managed 19 blues by 10;30.
same group as yesterday but a shortened half day outing.
