Don (My boat partner): "I and Samuel want to try and catch crappie this Saturday".
Me: "Ok".
Don: "Not taking any catfish gear, just ultralight tackle and we're buying 4 dozen minnows".
Me: "Ok".
And that is what we did. Luckily one crappie rod was loaded with 20lb braid line.
This is what a 13.5 lb crappie looks like.

All our other crappie rods were loaded with 4lb mono. They didn't even stand a chance against those monster crappie that loved those Toughie minnows. I'm back to catfishing next Saturday.
