If it's "Eaters" you're after and just wanting to fill the freezer with Blue and Channel Cat filets, now is the time on RC! October was an awesome month and we're now moving into the Season when you get a few more Blues than Channels and the fish are a little larger! Water temps are cooling and the bait, birds and fish are stacked up in the timber up the Richland Arm of the Lake. Most days we're starting in thicker timber near Crab Creek in water depths ranging from 20'-25' FOW and if we don't get on a good bite immediately, we try a little bit shallower until we find a concentration of fish. We usually throw out some Range Cubes and/or Fermented Grain and give it a few minutes to attract the fish. Some days we never move and on others, we have to try two or three locations. Always on a #4 Treble Hook is a wad of Danny Kings "Blood" Punch Bait. For whatever reason, the "Blood" version of DK's has always been the hands down best Catfish bait on RC over the years! Adam and I have a few November open dates and lots of December dates we would like to fill. Check us out at www.gonefishin.biz and give us a call! Here's a few Pics from the past couple of weeks:
