Dock Fishing

Caught this nice one 19½ lbs while fishing off the dock. Caught on a Santee Cooper rig using live shad, also had 4 more smaller ones. all fish released.

Very nice!! How high up the water is that dock?

Be a trip to be reeling a 20lb blue 20 feet up into the air lol.

From the water to the dock is about 4'. My net also has a extra long handle. The lake is 1' low.

Makes sense. Sounds more reasonable that what I imagined it could be... still the idea of reeling a huge catfish up to like a second story dock sounds like something I would like to see.

Come to Lake Worth when the water temps get in the lower 60's. Several places to catch many that size from the bank, and hundreds of them stacked like cord wood, if you got a boat. Lots and Lots of 20 pounders.
