Flatty's - 08/02/21 02:47 PM

Thought I would go and see if they still wanted to play. Guess what... they do. Missed a huge take down that popped my leader after taking about 20 yards of drag before I got to the rod. Then rounded up a mid teen and one touching the 30lb mark. On the water at 530 catching bait, off the water by midnight.
Hard to get good pics solo, but here's a few none the less.

we can plan that bud. I'm surprised Lewisville didn't put out better for you on the nights you went. I know there are still some monster flatheads lurking in there.

Thanks amigo! I will do that cheers There are definitely some Giants left in the old lake. We hung a super fish but it worked me good and wrapped me in the fallen tree I was fishing but that was the only flatty we hung that night. I gotta get some heavy braid on my anchor rods for sure. I donā€™t think I can land one over 30-35 lbs In the area I was fishing unless I can control his head at least a little bit and keep it out of the trees. Now that I have seen your post I have a fire starting to burn in my fish gut. I think me and Action Jaxon might need to hit the lake Friday night and see if we can get lucky. What time did you pick up your first fish?

the one I missed and the 2 caught all hit between 9-1030. I'm sure there would have been another round of feeding after midnight sometime but I didn't stick around for it.
