Out with the Bowden’s today!

What a day out on The Catfish Cadillac! Had Hugh Bowden and Carla Bowden out with me for the first time. Started out catching some ok fish mixed in with some dinks. Made a move and found some goodn’s. Had to work for those jokers today. They didn’t just jump in the boat. They stuck it out and put together a dang good mess for a family fish fry. I really enjoyed having y’all , making fun of Carla, and pulling those big ones in Hugh was hammering ! Thank y’all so much for giving me a chance to be your guide today. All fish caught on Stubby’s Cheesebait in 19 and 27 feet of water.

Fish fry should be a success!

They are real fun on medium light rods. Most people use too heavy of a rod and never feel the bite. I have taken several people that say they can’t catch a fish with our bait, put a medium light rod in their hand , then they magically start catching them. Not gonna feel a smaller channel on a white ugly stik medium heavy. Well, if they hammer it you will, but 99% of the time they just barely pull it down.
