This is your offseason for catfish??? This is the absolute best time of year for us bluecatrs! I like to do my boat work at the end of August and beginning of September when it’s too hot to fish. I re-supply and re-tool 2 times per year. I like to get the boat and all my equipment and gear ready for winter trophy fishing and then I also re-supply and regroup early spring for spring and summer fishing. Right now is the best time of year to fish!

This is Texas. There is no "off season" for fishing. IMO.
