Fishing this November and December on lake Richland Chambers - 10/21/20 10:50 PM

I'm kind of a back seat driver this Fall because of my rotator cuff surgery but I would like to share a little bit of how fishing usually goes .
With all these fronts coming in no two days will be the same.
I do know that when I look for sandbass this time of the year, I
usually head to the dam checking out Pelican island, 309 flats and the windsock that is a good morning loop of the main lake. You may find an occasional bird working like a flock of Terns or a group of Seagulls feeding.
I stick with a dependable slab rig this time of the year. Our fish could be holding on the bottom in 40 ft. Of water or maybe stacked up on  one of the traditional humps or points in 15 to 20ft of water.
I would try to plan my fishing days before the fronts come in. Let's say you get two or three nice day's strung together that's when you need to be out there and more especially the day right before the front.
On the catfishing I like all the deep water points, I also like the thick timber. Fresh shad is my favorite and this time of the year is our best time to target fish 20 lbs and better.

Enjoy the pretty day's and good luck!
