LL and Ray Rob channel cat depth

If I were to go bait some holes in the trees, what’s the ideal depth during June and July for channel cats on Lake Lewisville and Ray Roberts?

Following this. I typically just try to place bait as close to a drop off as I can. Interested in what the better fishermen than me say though lol
