Livingston 5/17/20

Hit Livingston yesterday and was greeted with some light rain and a pretty good NW wind . I went to try to get in on a good bulkhead bite but the shad only made a short run and I only had 8 fish and one drum by 8:30 so it was off to plan B. Plan B was to pull planer boards and since I left my big cast net at home the drum would be the cut bait . It wasn't long into my first drift and I had a good take down and boated a fat 22 pounder .It was eaters off in for a while before I had a drag ripping take down that turned out to be a 16 pounder on steroids acting all grown up . I ended the day with good mess of eaters to 10 pounds. Wind was cranking pretty good and making the 72" drift sock work .
