When back out today. We kept 38. tossed back anything under 13inch. probably would have had 50 in the cooler. it took me several spots before we found them. in 2ft of water in some reeds .

we were on limestone. that dame bulldog. I had to fish im out of the lake I had a dink on as I was lifting it in the the boat he lunged at it and fell it bulldogs dont swill well. lucky we were in about 2ft of water. we would have had an easy to limits. my son just did not want to clean them all

Makings of some fine meals there. Fried catfish, hushpuppies, cold beverage. Don't get much better than that.
