Conroe 1/18/20

I hit Conroe for the first time this year and it was pretty slow foggy and flat calm . Got a lot of nibbles early and caught one eater on my first drift. I made a move and got a 10 pounder and another eater. I could see the clouds building with the front approaching and finally got the bite I was looking for as a fish slammed the rod and devoured the carp head .I got him past three rods to the front of the boat and was able to get the fat 40 pounder in the net .Looked like rain and wind was coming so I called it a good day.
