2 Dudes - 20 fish from 6-42 lbs. 4 under 10, 6 in teens, 8 in 20’s , a 36 and a 42..........

Bait was Tough - small 2-5” Shad , finally threw on what we thought was Big Shad - small catfish in 28-32’. Moved over a bit and netted a decent sized carp. All Fish caught on bloody cut carp - Beat on it , scaled it, filleted it, cut fillets into about 2x4” and 1x3" pieces and chunked filleted body portion near tail. Got a few pics.......

Missed about 6-7 decent fish. RDZ had a Biggun hooked but the leader popped at the peg float after about 30- 45 seconds fight

Awesome job. We're y'all drifting or anchored? I haven't catfished lavon in several years. I love that lake but twak is closer to my house now. What was the best depth?

Started anchored in 32-34' (on what map said was a channel but had no drop to it?) as no Wind - missed a cpl bites but no catches. Wind picked up after an hour (about 3:30) so we pulled anchor and went to drifting. 28-42’ FOW on a Long Drift - the Deeper we got -the Bigger the Fish. We had 2 rods out with 3-4” Shad and Shad got No Hits, maybe bigger cut gizzards would’ve ? If I could - I’d like to have both carp and big gizzards every trip.........

Thanks - By Far, Our Best Trip EVER. we just had 2 Skunk trips on Twok and had Nice Sized Gizzards........(had already cut up a Shadzilla - Bigger than the One in the pic.)
