Things that make you proud

Got a phone call this morning from a gentleman that purchased some Stubby’s a few months back and finally got to the lake this morning. He asked a few normal questions and I gave him some depths and areas to try. These areas were not spots that Stubby or myself have baited or even fished. I just knew they were in the right depth. Felt pretty good knowing that I was able to a part of he and his Dad’s successful first time using Stubby’s and fishing Fork. From helping make the bait they used to knowing what depth they should be in and giving them the rundown on how to use the bait properly. All of this stuff was taught to me in a very short time by Stubby. I’ve said it over and over again, but I am so thankful to have had someone take an interest in me to teach me how to fish and trust me enough to learn the bait. These two caught 60 fish today first time out! All because some guy took the time to teach me how to help others. Can’t ask for more than that. When you are scrolling around on social media and posts like this pop up , it just warms your heart knowing you helped make this happen.
