I fished Lewisville this afternoon for 3 hrs. My good bait holes in 35 ft were stacked thick with drum so I went looking. I found 6-7” gizzards pretty thick on a 30 ft flat but couldn’t find the big ones. Most everywhere I looked everything was laying on the bottom. I was able to find some fish feeding in 42 ft and ended up with a handful of 10-12 lbrs. On to Texoma Sunday...

Thanks for the info. I will report back. I got a kitchen pass to go try my new whisker seeker fmj and shimano tekota 600hg. Santa was nice this year.

Tons of shad on Lewisville in 30-40 water.

Gato I couldn’t find any big shad today on Lewisville today either. I also hit the drum jackpot on a couple throws. I’ve never caught so pretty many drum. Loaded both bait tanks up with medium shads for this weekend and next week.

Never found any big shad today. Found lots of 4-5 inch so that's what I had to use. Tough day of fishing with no wind. Started out power drifting and marked lots of bait and fish but only ended up with 2 small blues. Found some active fish in some timber and caught about 15 up to 5 pounds. Not a great day but at least I got to get out and fish. Beautiful day to be on boat but not ideal for fishing.
