Lake Lewisville Catfishing

Lake Lewisville Catfishing - 07/05/19 10:40 PM

I recently started catfishing with juglines and was having pretty good catches until this week when the temperatures rose and the water level dropped. Any advice on methods and productive locations would be appreciated. I am limited with a small boat and no electronics. I haven't tried chumming or fishing at night yet, preferring to fish mornings.

The very best advice I have would be get probably the best catfish guide ever Tom Gravely to yale you put for a trip
He will teach you more in a guide trip than you will learn on your on in years. Now I have fished with Tom on several occasions and in some adverse weather and water conditions and each time been impressed with not only what we catch but watching exactly how he does every single detail. That includes how he cuts his bait to how he ties his hooks on. Dont forget his gummy worm trick.

I would like to learn from an experienced guide, but in the meantime I have ordered a few books about catfish that should be very informative.
