Lewisville 6-1

Finally got out did some catfishing this morning with the family. Been getting my 3yr old accustomed to fishing and it took him several months to train him up and get him used to being out there. We�ve been having fun throwing the net and releasing fish but he is finally able to go catfishing for a little longer runs.


Bait was easy in 30ft and thats also where we found our fish. We started out pulling boards shallow on a main lake point and as soon as we got out to 30 ft we started getting bit. We pulled the boards for 2 runs and ended up with 10 fish each drift. My boy even got to reel in a couple which wore the little guy smooth out.

to my 3yr old they were giant Rick! I had about as much fun watching him reel those dinks as I do putting my buddies on 60s at Twok...Just fun stuff! We had a great time!

That is awesome. Didn�t see your boat today. I was on main lake chasing hybrids. I marked blues in 30 foot of water. Caught a couple on slabs.

I know one thing Curtis!!! He�s having a lot more fun than I am cause it�s summertime, the house is constantly full with like 10 kids, and it�s hot!!! There ain�t no gatorades, no honeybuns, no beef jerky, and I can�t stay outta jail. I haven�t even started the boats in a month... But... I am being disciplined!

Poor man's version of power poles!

It�s like being a kid all over again when I take him fishing. He doesn�t care how big they are or how many we catch. We stay till he�s ready to go which usually isn�t very long. Sometimes we don�t even get to fish...I haven�t fished hard for catfish since February Fellas! I will try and keep y�all posted from time to time.
