Darren and Austin meet up for a good fishing day, I believe if not for the big wind we would have got the sandbass too!

No fish fights like those hybrids. Use to catch a lot of them on Greer's Ferry lake in AR. We fished for them in late July and early August under lights at night. Would set up right before sundown in app. 30' water and jig to the bottom with a piece of nightcrawler dangling (very important). Once the shad started coming around the lights, the fun was on. Have never tried that method in Texas as I solely fish Fork where they don't exist.
