Need a New Taped castnet

I have a Betts Pro deep hole that works good .

I taped a net myself with gorilla tape and it�s lasted two years so far-
It cost an evening of my time and works good-

El gato azul showed me the fitec super spreader 7� with tape. Bought a couple and they�re dang good.

I use a Fitec GS 1000 7' w/tape, it throws really good. I got it online when they had a sale a couple of years ago at castnets.com. I wish I had bought two, its a matter of time before something happens to it. I'm not sure if Bait Buster has taped nets, but I got a new regular one this year, and it is a great net and built better than my Fitec. If they have taped ones, I'm sure they would be excellent.

GS1500 is what I use. I also have a couple I've taped myself to use as backups in the event I tear the GS1500.

Just trying to help out with what little info I have to offer! Been on the crappie at Roberts the last month bout ready to learn Lewisville too!

Why do you tape the bottom of the nets? Does it help?
