I fish that lake with my grandkids and it’s neat to think one of them can get that big fish pull feeling-what bait did that hoss take?
My two biggest fish out of that lake was caught on a perch head and chicken breast-

My bait was a live bluegill, and not a very big one. That damn fish jerked my rod holder out of the ground and almost got away with my pole.

Yes, Carolina rig. Probably 35-40 yards out in about 6 feet of water.
