Anyone been to Anchor Inn lately?

Going camping/fishing out there this week. Anyone had any luck?

I went Last Saturday. Was only there for 2 hours. Didn't get a single bite. But I think I was there a little to soon. They should be in the shallows. And if you can get some fresh shad. I think You might have some luck.

Thanks for the info. I'll have my cast net so I should be able to get some shad. I'll also be catching some perch to use live.

The bite was pretty good in the shallows a week or so ago, I pulled in 7 and 12 pound blues and some smaller eaters on strawberry koolaid/garlic chicken breast. Both balloon and bottom rigs. Neighbor got a decent sized blue on minnows with a jug running off his dock. The last couple days have been zip using cut carp and frozen shad. I'm almost straight across the lake from Anchor Inn.
