Creating Structure

How many of you make structure in an area to make it a honey hole. I have a ton of poly barrels that I could sink to make something work. I am not sure how well it would work in a cove with timber. I was thinking of sinking some with the ends cutout and concrete to weigh them down.

Any thoughts on this?
