Was fishing in my buddys new boat, i brought my rod and reels and tackle boxes , he just starting out , we unloaded all my stuff in my truck and he wanted to take pic's so i got to catfish slim his new boat!

He used apoxy , they call him the Legend , he only likes fishing for BIG CATFIS last year He caught a 62 lb blue and a 72 lb flat head . He builds rod holders , thumpers for whites and box anchors. And he's crazy too

I actually live about 10 miles from Lake Belton. I have had zero luck with catfish there. I usually go to Lake Waco and clean up. Whats the secret with Belton? I like rod/reeling. I was thinking of putting in at Hwy 36 and trying the Owl Creek area. Try and chum up in the Timber. Tell me what I am doing wrong...
