My son and I fished at Conroe today for a little group tagging event for a new group Texas Trophy Catfish Association . My Buddy Morris had his boat out along with a local guide and a couple more boats . We were tagging a releasing cats over 10 lbs. and documenting length, girth and weight. I think we ended up tagging and releasing 14-16 fish including a 77 lb. Blue caught by one guy that was jug fishing.
My son and I tagged a 33.5 and 22 lb. Blue . It was fun day on the water even though the bite was slow.

Here is the 77.3 caught on a jug by Louis Parker Saturday on Conroe. The fish was 51 inches long with a 36 inch girth. The fish was tagged and released and swam away .
