There's 3 types of fishing... - 12/12/17 03:20 AM

1.) Eater Fishing...
2.) Trophy Fishing...
& 3.) Tournament Fishing...

To say they are the same is an understatement, and I don't know if I'm the only one in the world that will ever get to team up and fish with Randy Miller and Johnny Ward during a tourney, but I will say this...

I will never forget the first CTCT Classic tourney I fished, with the best in the business... You couldn't run with two better people...

I wanna say thanks to everybody that participated in last weekends CTCT 2 day adventure, with a special thanks to Randy Miller, Johnny Ward and the Tournament Director, Jerry Dillard!

Lake O.H. Ivie is a mean but " bad to the bone " fishery and that was an awesome tourney!!! I love you guys more than you'll ever know... Yall are all special... cheers

Here's some cool footage I got, rollin with Randy and Johnny...

Yeah, I'm a meat fisherman through and through. I would say that there is

1. Sport Fishing
2. Artisanal Fishing
3. Commercial Fishing

Sport fishing being trophy, tournament, leisure or recreational fishing. They are all different because they have different reason, could all be considered sport of one kind or another.

Commercial Fishing is the large scale production we see out on the ocean. These big factory fish boat were they catch 100s of thousands of pounds of fish, process and package them right there on the boat, or even hauling it back to dock for processing.

Artisanal fishing is meat fishing on a small scale whether for an individual, household or a village. It's characterized by low-cost, low-tech methods that produce an incredible amount of food.

We had an outstanding time with Prime on the boat it was a tough bite on a new lake so the fish didn't play nice but Rick kept us laughing the entire time .

I had a great time, especially the car ride to dinner with, Randy, rick, Johnny, vess, and myself. I think I still smell it! Dinner with Rob was fun too. It was a great weekend regardless of the fishing. Some dang good fellas.

All I know is if Randy would have driven the van we would have hit 3 or 4 deer and been to velera in like 14 minutes , Rick kinda made us slowly suffer at the hands[cheeks] of Vess

I always thought it was:
Channel cat fishing
Blue cat fishing
Flathead cat fishing

Bullheads don't count. They are for bait
