Rose Help

We have 2 rose bushes side by side. One is flourishing and the other not so much. This is what it looks like. Please advise.

Black spot (happens on crepe myrtles too) . Seeing the caladiums and elephant ears nearby makes me think there's plenty of watering going on . Make sure you're watering roses at the roots - not on the leaves .

There's a treatment using baking soda (google it) but the best thing I know is to remove affected leaves and throw them away .

Yes, black spot. Very treatable.

Baking soda and dish soap. Spray both sides of leaves in the evening as the sun is going down.

It’ll go away with the above treatments and hotter, dryer weather.

My best guess is to let your wife worry about the roses and you go fishing so you can clear your mind about the black spots.
