Peeling paint on bathroom ceiling

Peeling paint on bathroom ceiling - 02/09/20 04:50 PM

When we had our bathroom re-done, they didn’t wipe down the ceilings after cutting granite sinks and before painting. So the granite dust on the surface didn’t allow the paint to stick and the paint is now peeling. We are peeling it a little at a time, but wondering if there is a way to accelerate the peeling? Wipe with damp sponge, mist with water? Any other thoughts? Want to speed this project along. Thanks.

Ok fine. I’ll just pee on it.

scraper duct taped on a pool pole with the end of a wet/dry vac taped to it as well.

Figured out an easy solution- pie the ceiling down with a wet sponge to accelerate the moisture-in-the-paint process. It begins to peel in some areas and I can easily scrape it in others. Problem solved.

An even easier solution would be to lay off the Allsup's burritos and messkin food.
