StrikeKing Bass club of Plano Texas is looking for new members.
If you are interested in joining a fun bass fishing club and one that is interested in making some lifelong friends as well as sharing fishing information, learning how to fish or teaching others that aren't as experienced as you, then this club may be the one for you. We accept boaters and non-boaters at a ratio of 60% boaters, 40% non-boaters. Our maximum number of club members is 40.
Our basic format is fishing 8-10 tournaments per year. Our tournament year is from May to April with the Classic in April.
We draw new partners for each tournament. That way you get a chance to know more club members on a more personal level and can become friends.
Our entry fees are $45 per tournament so if you are looking to pad your bank account this is not the place for you.
We pay out 1st and 2nd for 9 boats or less and add a 3rd place if there are 10 or more boats.
All expenses for each tournament are shared equally between the boater and non-boater.
To qualify as a member you will have to fish as a guest with 2 different club members and attend one meeting. Your entry will be voted on by the club.
We have a monthly meeting to draw partners the Monday prior to the tournament day.
