Lake Fork Anglers Championship 5 fish limit results from 9.30.21 out of the SRA Park - 09/30/21 11:13 PM
Unlike last week when it was cold it was 70 degrees with a easy southerly wind. Everyone was carrying their raingear because of the big storms forecasted to be a problem during the day. As of 6 PM it is still dry here. But the fish were biting for most anywhere from 1' to 20'.Like two weeks ago the weights are back up.
All fish 10" and up are keepers. Only the best 5 count.
Boaters
First Place went to Frank West of Alba with 5 bass for 16.81 LB with a 5.71 LB lunker.
Second Place went to Bob Roberts of Longview with 6 bass for 13.48 LB with the boater lunker of 6.77 LB.
Third Place went to Tim Gold of Mineola with 7 bass for 12.29 LB. .with a 3.70 LB Lunker
Fourth Place went to Burt Roan of Emory of 4 bass for 11.06 LB. with a 5.94 LB lunker
Fifth Place went to Dennis Bubinas of Lake Fork with 4 bass for 10.36 LB with a 3.46 LB lunker
Co-Anglers
First Place went to Ken Kielbas of Arlington with 5 bass for 13.78 LB with the co-angler lunker of 5.08 LB..
Second Place went to Alf Tuggle of Cypress Springs with 5 bass for 12.54 LB with a 3.95 LB lunker.
Third Place went to Rick Wright of Rowlett with 6 bass for 5.89 LB. with a lunker of 1.41 LB.
Fourth Place went to Bob Lambert of Lake Fork with 2 bass for 4.97 LB. with a lunker of 2.02 LB
Fifth Place went to Jackie Price of Alba with 4 bass for 4.58 LB with a 1.82 LB lunker.
We caught 88 keepers today with two anglers skunking. .
The LFA fishes every Thursday except T-Day and Christmas on 2 different formats. A 5 fish limit we call LFA and a MLF style format where every fish counts we call Hard Core, 3 special tournaments and an end of year dinner. We are a club of 58+ seniors (Mostly) and are very liberal on members being for off vacations and medical issues. Even though we are practicing social distancing and wearing masks, we have about 10 sitting out from Covid exposure,
Right now we are looking for more members. Boaters & Co-.anglers.. BOATERS FISH FOR FREE.
