Lake Fork Anglers 5 fish limit results from 8.26.21 out of the SRA Park - 08/27/21 12:27 AM
For the first time in a while some of the fish were caught on deeper humps. However first place boater came out of 1-2 feet. Finally around 10 AM a breeze picked up to make it a little cooler. Some fish were caught on c-rigged baby brush hogs.
All fish 10" and up are keepers. Only the best 5 count.
Boaters
First Place went to Dennis Bubinas of Lake Fork with 9 bass for 13.05 LB with a 3.46 LB Lunker
Second Place went to Bob Roberts of Longview with 6 bass for 8.91 with the boater lunker of 3.95 LB.
Third Place went to Bill Ailes of Sulphur Springs with 3 bass for 6.24 LB. .with a 2.61 LB Lunker
Fourth Place went to Scott Shrader of Mineola 4 bass for 6.02. with a 2.49 LB lunker
Fifth Place went to Jack White of Farmers Branch with 3 bass for 4.75 LB with a 1.62 LB lunker
Co-Anglers
First Place went to Gary Gilmore of Ennis with 4 bass for 4,28 LB with a 1.77 LB lunker.
Second Place went to Rick Wright of Rowland with 1 bass for 4.04 LB which was the co-angler lunker .
Third Place went to Jimmie Bright of Frisco with 2 bass for 3.81 LB. with the lunker of 2.74 LB.
Fourth Place went to Bob Lambert of Lake Fork with 1 bass for 3.62 LB.
Fifth Place went to Rudy Hall of Mineola with 2 bass for 2.99 LB with a 1.92 LB lunker.
We caught 63 keepers today with three anglers skunking.
The LFA fishes every Thursday except T-Day and Christmas on 2 different formats. A 5 fish limit we call LFA and a MLF style format where every fish counts we call Hard Core, 3 special tournaments and an end of year dinner. We are a club of 56+ seniors (Mostly) and are very liberal on members being for off vacations and medical issues. Even though we are practicing social distancing and wearing masks, we have about 13 sitting out from Covid exposure,
Right now we are looking for more members.... BOATERS FISH FOR FREE.
