Lake Fork Anglers 5 fish limit results from 7.8.21 out of the SRA Park - 07/08/21 07:33 PM
Yes it was hot but not nearly as hot as it could be if we aren't quitting at noon for the summer. The fishing was good for most but not nearly as good as it has been for the last 3 weeks, And finding water that is not stained is a challenge. Winds were light and the water hot.
All fish 10" and up are keepers. Only the best 5 count.
Boaters
First Place went to Bob Roberts of Longview with 15 bass for 17.33 LB with a 4.49 LB lunker..
Second Place went to Curt Blount of Lake Fork with 11 bass for 15.41 with a 4.31 LB lunker..
Third Place went to Tim Gold of Mineola with 6 bass for 15.20 LB. .with a 5.49 LB Lunker
Fourth Place went to Jack White of Farmers Branch 8 bass for 15.10 LB. with a 5.71 LB lunker
Fifth Place went to Charlie Abresch of Hawkins with 4 bass for 14.17 LB with the boater lunker of 6.17 LB
Co-Anglers
First Place went to Alf Tuggle of Cypress Springs with 4 bass for 9.11 LB with the co-angler lunker of 5.82 LB.
Second Place went to Ken Kielbas of Arlington with 4 bass for 5.67 LB .with a 2.36 LB lunker .
Third Place went to Jackie Price of Alba with 3 bass for 5.25 LB. with the lunker of 2.25 LB.
Fourth Place went to Rick Wright of Rowlett with 2 bass for 4.93 LB. with a 3.39 LB lunker.
Fifth Place went to Bob Lambert of Lake Fork with 2 bass for 4.47 LB with a 2.55 LB lunker.
We caught 95 keepers today with two anglers skunking. No stories about the one that got away today.
The LFA fishes every Thursday except T-Day and Christmas on 2 different formats. A 5 fish limit we call LFA and a MLF style format where every fish counts we call Hard Core, 3 special tournaments and an end of year dinner. We are a club of 54+ seniors (Mostly) and are very liberal on members being for off vacations and medical issues. Even though we are practicing social distancing and wearing masks, we have about 14 sitting out from Covid exposure,
Right now we are looking for more BOATERS.... BOATERS FISH FOR FREE.
