RHBC Bridgeport results and pictures! - 06/14/21 11:48 PM
The Ray Hubbard Bass Club held our fifth members only tournament of 2021 last Saturday June 12th on Lake Bridgeport. It's not often we travel west and Bridgeport was brand new to most everyone that fished. It provided some different challenges than most of the East Texas lakes do, being clear, deep and rocky. 22 boats made the drive out and waited though a thunderstorm that rolled in during what was supposed to be first cast. Then the wind picked up and was howling and then it died and became a sauna. Despite all that, for the first time in my memory, every team weighed at least one fish and 10 limits were brought in. Our winners at the end of the day were Keith Taylor and James Weir with an excellent bag weighing 17.32 pounds. Big bass of the tournament went to David Choate who caught a 7.43 monster. Here are full results and pictures.
Robert Hitt and John Bruner had one fish
Paul Spann and Bill Gammons also had one for 2.58
Brian Brooks and Steve Parrish had one but she weighed 3.91
Bodee Landauer and JT Walker had three for 5.52. My apologies as I think some water got on the lens for 3-4 pictures
Mark Calhoun and Keith Green had two for 5.99 that included a 4.72
Clark Crenshaw and Roddy Bieber had four for 6.06
Jimmy Phillips and Randy Bridges with four for 7.14
David Burton fished with Matt Jackson and they weighed a limit that went an adjusted 8 pounds even
Brig Norwood and Tony Bryant had five for 8.35
David Choate fished solo and had two for 8.53
That included big bass of the event, a 7.43 toad
