**New**Weatherford Bass Club - 09/28/20 12:14 PM
Hey fellas, starting a new bass club based out of Weatherford. Its going to be a little different than most, but will be a good time. It is in the very early stages of getting going but we will be putting on the first meeting very soon to start getting everything lined out and ready to fish beginning in November (hopefully). Here is how this will go...
One club tournament a month. Open tournaments periodically. For the CLUB tournaments - Friday afternoon before the tournament day, we will do a facebook live drawing of what lake the tournament will be held at (selected from a list of lakes voted on prior to the season). Show up the next morning and fish. No prefishing/practice. Everyone shows up on level playing field (as level as you can get). The Open tournaments will still be announced with as much notice ahead of time as possible. The first meeting will provide additional information such as rules, club dues, tournament entry fees, etc. From talking to several people, it sounds like there are several interested in this somewhat unconventional tournament club. If you are interested feel free to contact me and like our page of Facebook. "Weatherford Bass Club" there are a few pages out there, ours is the one with the picture of the lake and a skeleton fish "Gone Fishing"
