What is the best jig mold to us to make chatterbaits?

Anything with a horizontal eye will work.

just a regular Arky jig head works for me or a swim jig, if u cant find the horizontal line you can just use split rings.

When I was researching this the consensus was the banana spinner jig mold from do-it. The horizontal line tie jig molds will work if you want to attach the blade with a split ring but IMO the split ring chatterbaits don't work as well as ones with direct blade to head attachment.

I always had a hard time getting the hook eye bent out without flaking the chrome off the hook eye when trying to put the blades on, anyone else have this issue?

I use the Sparkie Jig Mold - the version without the weeguard = works great...
