Cedar Creek 10/5/2017, 10/6/2017 - 10/06/17 10:58 AM
Took fishing buddy Ed D out from 9:15AM to 1:30PM and caught 114: 100 whites, 10 keeper sized yellow bass, 2 legal hybrids to 24 1/2 inches, a short hybrid and a cat. Had another hybrid pull off. We headed north and started at Spillway Hump. Caught a few on the south slope and several on the north slope (the 24.5 inch and pull-off hybrid here) and the north tip of it. Leaving there we checked the Rock Pile and didn't see enough to stop. Fished the last couple of hours at Enchanted Isle Ridge, where it was covered with whites on the western part of it. We left there when we reached 100 whites still catching fish. Caught a few on #2 Mepps but most wanted #4. Fish were holding right on the bottom in 18 to 20 fow in each spot. Here are a couple of pics:

Fished some spots on the south end this afternoon and found good concentrations of fish at Saint Annes Point West, Dam Ridge and the SE slope of A-Frame. Fish were in 17 to 21 fow. Most wanted #4 Mepps but some wanted #2. I ended up with 46: 35 whites, 5 legal hybrids, 5 keeper yellow bass and a 31 inch blue cat, which I caught on a #2 Mepps. All the hybrids were at A-Frame.
