We're going to try fishing there this weekend. Any hints to help us out. I know we need to get on the lake before sunrise and get off before 10 am but that's about it... any help would be appreciated

The fish are moving, but are on the channel ledges from the pump station to the power lines on the lower ends.
Just had friday 9-1 open up if anyone is interested. Whitney or Granbury.

We went out today and cleaned up on 1-2 lb largemouths and my first striper. It was small but still a striper. Rattle Traps casted towards the shore at sunrise.

We cleaned up with a mix of hybrids, stripers and whites yesterday. Using just shad colored rattle traps and top waters. We were down towards the dam and they just came up all around us. Lasted about 45minutes or so. The shad were flying everywhere. Really had a great time. Remember, we just moved here but I'm amazed at the amount of fish in this lake! Haven't caught anything really large but the amounts are incredible.
