One last RC Trip Before Harvey Hits!

One last RC Trip Before Harvey Hits! - 08/25/17 10:17 PM

Kind of an unknown as to what Harvey will bring to Central Texas, but the Saturday Forecast was enough to have us cancel with strong NE Wind and a pretty good chance of rain. So we did the next best thing and got a trip in this AM with a Granddad, Dad and two Sons. The East Wind was brisk and we had some good cloud cover and the AM temps never got out of the low 80's. Great morning and the fish bit good for a couple of hours on Hickey Island. When the bite slowed we did quite a bit of looking and ended the morning on the South Shoreline on a Main Lake Point up from Fisherman's Point Marina with a good bite on big Sandies. All fish on RSR Slabs ( www.rsrlures.com ) and a Jig Teaser in water depths from 15'-25' FOW. Got Weekday openings the next couple of weeks if the weather permits. Give us a call and Let's Go Catchin'!
