8" shark blades, the 10" don't work as good.

i went out and purchased the American angler pro at bass pro last week. it comes with an 8" curved blade. ti zipped through several hybrids and sand bass this last Saturday. i was impressed. i may try the shark blade as well . this filet knife is way better than my black and decker and quisinart ones i had laying around.

Just picked up an American Angler. The fish fillet themselves now. It really is worth the money if you fillet a bunch of fish.

American Angler with the shark blades. about black and decker the switches are junk. Have probally had 10 of them . The switches will go out after a few fish. I guide and the only one that will stand up to 50 to a 100 fish a day every day is the american angler.

If you clean any significant amount of fish at all, the American Angler is the only one on the market that will hold up. 2cents

Re: Electric Fillet Knives - 06/18/17 08:40 PM

I have an American angler, bought it about three years ago, when cleaning hybrids, it would get hot. so I bought some shark blades, cuts it like hot butter. the only thing is mine gets real hot after about thirty minutes.
anyone else have this problem? I have tried the others and they are junk. wondering if I should have bought the pro model?
