Got Em' All In on Richland Chambers!!! (Pic Heavy) - 06/04/17 11:17 AM

For the first time since mid March, we were able to get all our trips in this past week and fished everyday! Seems there's been a T-Storm, WIND or some combo of both that has caused us to cancel at least one day each week. We almost had this happen yesterday, but after a start, stop, & start again around 7AM, the skies cleared, the wind calmed and the rain was over till the afternoon. Everyday was good and limits of Whites and an occasional Hybrid was the norm. Kiddos became our target Customer as School is out and FUN was the name of the game. Fish are located basically everywhere with Pelican Island, Old Hwy 287 Roadbed and Main Lake Points in 25'-35' FOW the places to fish. We still have a couple of days open in June, a boat open on July 4th and lots of July Weekday openings to fill. Give us a call and Let's Go Fishin'! clap

Here's some Pics from the past week:

Started off this week with a slight delay as the rain showers moved over the Lake. Rain stopped, great cloud cover and SCHOOLING TOP WATER FISH on the Flats ALL MORNING! banana The Grandpa, Dad and Son from Georgetown caught them on Cohos, Torpedos, Wild Eyes and then doubles on Slabs/Jigs reeled along the surface. Caught fish till we got tired around 10AM, Limits and Catch & Release made for an AWESOME outing! Only caution is that we caught about as many 14" Hybrids as we did Sandies. Be careful as the Hybrids need to go back and grow. dance2

After Mondays 75 Fish Limit all caught on Top Water on the Flats, the next three days had Zero Top Water but limits caught on Slabs on Tuesday thru Thursday. We started today (Friday) with a slow bite, then the storms moved closer to RC and we moved to the Mid-Lake area on the East Turnaround on Pelican Island. We had a three boat Group Party of 13 fishermen from the Baptist Church in Waxahachie and stayed as long as we could (and still got wet on the ride in) & managed 250 plus Whites and about 10 Blue Cats. Sorry no Group Pics as everyone headed for cover when we hit Fisherman's Point Marina. For a day with no rain in the forecast, we got plenty! nuts We will end the week with a two boat Family Outing tomorrow with DFW Customers on Saturday.

We still have a boat open on June 16, 19 & 27. Give us a call and Let's Go Fishin! banana

Finished off the 2nd week that we were able to fish everyday and get all out trips in ! Limits of Whites & a few Catfish for both boats. Adam's Dad/Sons Combo and my Foursome from Burleson did a number on the fish with all coming on RSR Silver or Chartruse Slabs/Jig Teasers ( www.rsrlures.com ). Fish were on Humps and Points in 25'-30' FOW and were very aggressive from mid morning on. Guess the Full Moon had them a little lethargic early on? grin

We still have a few June Weekday openings over the next two weeks we'd love to fill. Check out our "Package Special" on the web at www.gonefishin.biz . Let's Go Fishin'!

Ever notice how a Baseball Player is superstitious and doesn't change anything when all is going well? A couple of weeks back I started this thread and we haven't had to cancel a trip due to weather in three weeks! Looks like we'll get them all in this week too, so we'll just keep this thread going! rock

Been a good four days on RC with LOTS of Top Water a couple of days! On Tuesday on the South Shoreline we got all our 75 fish on Top, and this morning on the Flats we manager 61 fish of the 75 before the Schoolies disappeared. Lil' Georges, Torpedos, small swim baits or just about anything you wanted to throw worked well! The better the breeze and cloud cover, the better the schooling! If the fish aren't on top, the standard locations are holding fish...Main Lake Points, 287 Roadbed and Humps in 30' FOW. RSR Slabs ( www.rsrlures.com) are our GO TO bait!

Here's a few pics from this week.

Finished off the week with both boats out on Friday and then just me on Saturday as Adam had a last minute cancel. Good Top Water schooling on Friday and then early AM schooling on Saturday on the 309 Flats. Lots of small Hybrids mixed in with the nice Whites. Limited early with a twosome on Friday so we did some Catfishing to pass the time and enjoy the AM. banana

Got a June day or two open and then plenty of dates in July. Give us a call and Let's Go Fishin'!
